Z425 wont start and has nothing showing on hour meter. Have good battery and ground. How do I check safety switches? Help!!!!

You check switches with multimeter. But check your 20A main fuse first.

Should I be reading 12 V on the wires that go to the safety switches? Really just need to know how to test switches with the multimeter. All fuses are good and tested with multimeter.

You need continuity test...testing the resistance between two points. Some switches are normally open and others are closed and you need to know which one is doing what. Why don't you follow the link Bert gave to the other guy (Farmboy) on the other thread and follow thru with it? If you still have an issue with anything just come back and ask for help.
