JD L110 won't start

Is there a sensor to defeat starting the JDL110 when the blade lever is engaged? If, so ,where and can it be replaced. My mower seems to think the blades are engaged (lever up) , when they are not, and refuses to let me crank the mower. member: bmore

IF yours has a lever in the turret the switch is on the end of that lever.
It is a simple plunger switch held on with two tiny bolts that do occasionally come loose.
Do not put loctite on them cause you will never get them off and these plunger switches are prone to failure.
