To finish cut a field area, after brush hog cutting, I'd like to string a set of push mowers together. A Rube Goldberg kind of thing.

I routinely fix up used mowers, and have been doing this since 1966.
Now as a retired person, it is a hobby..

So, who has a good system for ganging mowers together?

 I'm going to move your thread over to our build it yourself section. Maybe someone over there might know.

An old neighbor did that with his lawn tractor and a couple of cheap pushers, a 2x4 and some rope for a 72 " cut. It sure made those 4 horses trailing on the right side eat a lot of hay with dirt / dust combined.

Grain drills have had that capability for over 60 years or ever since tractors were large enough to pull 2 drills.

I used to pull a gang of reel mowers with a tractor while working at a golf course. Three large reels followed by two to fill the gap. These were commercial mowers of course.
