Deck advise

Thanks to all of you that have help me I rode my new to me JD 345 around the yard today. Now I am looking at the deck lift. I looked underneath the mower and did not see a cylinder to lift the deck. Can anybody help with pictures of the lift part or a sight where I can see how it works? Looking forward to hear from you. Thanks

run the mower up on some ramps, lower the deck as low as it will go then I believe you'll see the cylinder inside the LH frame rail just in front of the transaxle

Thank you. It was right where you said it was. I bought the mower not running a nd had to replace the cam. I rode it around in the yard yesterday but that lift set up had me scratching my head. This forum and all you helpful people have been a lifesaver.
