Hi I am new to the forum, and working on carbs in general...I have a Craftsman 175cc OHV Briggs & Stratton Quiet Power Technology Engine.

It ran fine before it sat for about 1-2 months. Now every time I pull to start, the bowl starts to flood/drip out fuel from the bottom. The spark plug is also wet with fuel.
I have only tried to clean out the holes on the bowl bolt I saw online, but it still floods.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

You will need to remove, clean and install a carb repair kit which includes the new float valve and seat, which is what is causing your flooding problems.

You need item number 121 which is the carb repair kit. it contains the float valve, and all the gaskets to complete the assembly of the carb. But since the kit is half the cost of the complete carb item number 125 that may be a viable option to just replace the carb, and be done with it.
