couple questions. For the business side of the repair shop id like to get some software that helps me keep track of invoices, expenses, inventory ext....... any suggestions? I've heard a little bit about QuickBooks.
Next question I have is about parts suppliers. I've been using Partstree for parts and am looking at Stens parts. What are your thoughts. Thank You

I have been using Quickbooks since 2003, it has it quirks but for the money doesn't do a bad job. There are just not a lot of alternatives without spending big bucks on a complete business system. I started my business with Stens parts and then when I decided I need a larger parts system, picked up an account with Oscar Wilson, before becoming a warranty dealer in a lot of different things after purchasing the assets of another business.

The biggest thing with using Quickbooks is having to manually update prices which can be time consuming if you are dealing with several different manufacturers.
