Hi all. I have been searching for quite a while, but haven't had much luck with my problem. I have a Ferris IS4000 with the Vangaurd 3 cylinder engine (D31), that I believe my son accidentally accidentally left the ignition on the last time he used it (I assume he shut it down with a safety interlock and not the key). Since then the unit will not start due to lack of fuel. I have verified the fuses are good, and the fuel pump works by using jumpers from the battery; therefore I assume it is the fuel pump relay or the ignition module. I cannot seem to find the fuel pump relay that is indicated on the wiring diagram, so I assume it is integrated into the ignition module (P/N# 825572). I do get the unit to run on ether, so I don't think the unit is totally fried.

Is there anyway to test the ignition module, or is there a fuel pump relay I am missing?

Thanks,
Rich

First before you go possibly wasting money check that he handles are in neutral and out. Parking break is on and blades are disengaged.
