Just bought this bad boy at an auction. I have acreage to mow and it more than gets the job done. I changed oil, plugs, lubed, checked hydraulic fluid, slimed the rear tires, and ran some cleaner through the fuel system. Has 800 hours in it. Anything else I need to do? I also have one minor issue with it. Starts fine, let it warm up, but if I release brake or try to move arms in it will die. After several attempts it will finally go. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Sounds like a seat switch issue. Releasing the brake while off the mower will kill it. You can test this by jumping the seat switch to see if it solves your problem.

Thanks!!! It was the seat switch. Cheap part, easy quick fix. Love this mower.
