Leaking wheel motor

I have a toro Zmaster z400 series, model#74412. The wheel motor on the left is leaking from the front seal just in front of the hub. I'm wanting to repair it if possible but am unsure whether or not to try. As a new one is 5-6 hundred dollars, what advice would you guys give me? Thank you, Jeff
