That's the best site I've found.

And if we go to Briggs carbs and look at the NIKKI carb for the Briggs Intek V-Twin it shows the needle valve that caused the problem on my JD. When the carb bowl was removed it was completely void of gas. The ribs on the plastic needle were dirty causing the valve to stick closed. Some kind of black residue that required some 600 wet/dry sandpaper to clean. All has been well since. I've read this about a sticking needle on another forum.

Sure nuff, Briggs has made this an hour job if you've done it before and longer if you haven't when it at one time would have taken minutes.
