RE: Engine Replacement Snapper 1538 LT--12-29-2016--Update & Advise
Actual engine replacement was no problem--- Just a drop-in and 2 wires to hook up---
Now we are getting no battery power to the starter---Completely dead, We have new starter switch,,checked solenoid,, made sure safety switches were engaged before trying to start,,,battery checks good (it's just a month old). Checked starter with a battery booster, it turns good when power is applied. Would the deck being detached make any difference in starting the engine?? Any way to check the safety switches other than making sure they are engaged when trying to start engine?? Looking for any ideas to try,,
