Having trouble with starter not engaging. I replaced the solenoid and same problem. Not knowing how to troubleshoot, this is what I have done 1) changed solenoid 2) cleaned connections, ground, solenoid to starter. 3) Cleaned Battery to solenoid. 4) cleaned two smaller post and connections on solenoid. 5) checked voltage at batt side of solenoid 12.7V. Checked voltage on two small post in start position .5. 6) Checked voltage on starter side of solenoid. 0V All voltage checks done with switch in start position. Have not been under tractor to check connections because of having to remover mower deck. Lately when starting the engine would move a hair then stop for a bit, then turn normally like the battery was not fully charged. Battery checks out good. Stumped right now.:thumbdown:
