Other then the flywheel cover is off what is your problem? It will help a lot with the model and serial numbers in which should be stamped into the flywheel cover you have off. Maybe no spark??

The spring in the picture is the governor spring. It go's between the governor arm and throttle lever. If you need a picture go to Jacks small engine parts and put your model number under B&S engines. Go to the picture links electric, 232 is called governor link ( your spring) and it runs over the 212 throttle link. The spring helps hold your governor from hunting. I hope this helps:thumbsup: Nice looking car lift

The Carlift is build 1964 and can lift 2 tonns.
Here in germany all big Tools work with 380 Volt also my Lift too.
In my Barn where i had my Tools is not 380 V so i need a Generator for this.
Now i found one in a lokal newspaper ( internet) .
He had 4500 watt and the Lift 1500 thats enough for my small Car.
I will paint him new so it looks like better.
My litle Trabant i hope i can close the workshop on him, close some rustholes and welding, ready for paint.

The car looks good in the pictures and I bet it will look better when finish. What year is it. Any older cars in our part of USA are rusted real bad because the towns salt the roads in the winter time to melt the ice. Sure don't hesitate to keep sending pictures of it
