Hi

I was wondering how to check the bulb for a inline ignition spark tester? A connunity tester does not work i'm i right on that and how do i check to see if the bulb is any good? And where do i get new bulb at automotive parts house, or would it be just as easy to go to Harbor freight and get a new tester for 3 or 4 dallor. Bulb number is 1c9220-240v thanks

That will be a neon bulb and it is not going to have any continuity unless the gas is energized... You can test it on you car.. It will have way more than enough to ignite ti and fire the plug..
Yes rather than replace the bulb replace the whole thing...

I pull the plug connect to the wire and with the plug laying on the engine I look at the plug gap to see the quality of the spark at the gap... KennyV

Hi Kenny v

That bulb should almost be like a timing light bulb that's interment flashing ? I think i will just get a new one for $5.00 when they are on sale again i have one that still works so don't need one right now anyhow. Thanks
