722DT Grass hopper

how many hours is to many on a 2008 722dt his one has 2800 . I have a 1994 liquid cooled grasshopper would you trade to get newer technolagy .

A whole bunch depends on how well it was maintained, you being familiar with grasshopper should be able to test mow and get a feel for how loose it is. I really would not be too concerned with the Kubota diesel as long as it was properly maintained. The hydro's are another point I do get nervous closing in on 3000 hours be real thorough when testing and if there is any indication of weakness make sure you buy it reasonable enough to replace the hydro's. Everything else on a grasshopper is replaceable without breaking the bank. I sold my old 1992 Grasshopper with 2500 hours to a friend a couple of years ago and it is still going strong but it was a very well maintained machine.
