An unexpected phone call, a spur of the moment road trip, a walk through a dusty old barn---- and this was the result. Price?---Whatever it cost me in gas to get there.

I love the look of the suitcase-style mowers -- probably my favorite LB look but the F-series is my favorite engine.

Brazee's Ace Hardware is still in business at the same address. :cool:

I agree with you about the F series engine. I will always have one in my collection. Yes, Brazee's is still in business-one of those great little mom and pop style hardware stores that have that personal touch. I am located just walking distance to a similar type of store and that is where I bought my first Lawn Boy in 1980. I hope places like these never go out of style. (Oops--there I go again, getting nostalgic).
