Hint: It ain't the one with the sweet tea in his hand!

Simple Goomba, I eat once a week, BUT ! only on days ending with the letter Y !!

Re: MTD Yardman Transaxle Rebuild

I gave up arguing about climate change a long while ago.
That is why I use the sewer example, people can understand it and then there is the yuck factor of bumping into a blind mullet when you are swimming.

Sort of like the Obama Care debate where people are so polarised they can not see it is just another name for national health insurance.

As an engineer I hate waste and low grade products.
I was hasseling the CEO of Sidchrome ( Aussie tool company ) decades ago about downgrading their products.
The difference in price between top grade forging steel and junk grade was about $ 200 / ton and that works out at 15¢ a spannar.
So why not make the best spannars bar none in the world ?
But he was adamant that the future was in selling cheap spannar sets at Woolworths.
Back then Sidchrome had 85% of the professional tool market.
Now they have 14 % and of course Woolworths now sell cheaper Chinese tools.

Almost no one stocks the full Sidchrome range where as Snap On is available every where.
Back in my youth we used to bend & break Snap Ons with Sidchromes and since loosing the plot the company has been sold a 1/2 dozen times.

There is a finite amount of metals in the world so why waste them making land fill ?
If we simply stopped making garbage then we could forget all about CO2 emissions from vehicles.

Re: MTD Yardman Transaxle Rebuild

Gees this is starting to take on a Feaces Book feel.
But just the same
Rolled oats cooked with saltanas & whatever dried fruit I happen to have this week .
Topped with a sliced bannana sprinkled with cinnamon ( to control the blood glucose )
Alternating with mixed cereal flakes and milk again topped with the bannana & cinnemon.

Lunch is some sort of protein and carbs ( usually rice )
Or jaffels with fruit fillings or beans or pulses.

Evening meal is protein again with lots of veggies & no carbs.

Lost about 14 Kg since swapping the lunch & dinner menues.

Don't need lots of energy in bed any more. :frown:

As for the global warming debate,
my opinion of man's effect on the planet is well summed up by my signature......

What you doin' up in the middle of the night? To hot to get up in the daytime, so you sleep all day and fart around on the Internet all night?

By the way, a 24 hour clock would call 12:15 AM - - - 0015

So that makes you 16 hours ahead of EST in the US. Now I've got it..
