Morning Ted

Morning all you Stayers

Picture this morning has to do with when my father died. I was 15 and it was just before Thanks Giving. My father had dried himself out from the alcohol he drank all the time. He would do this about once a year. This was so he could drink cheaper. After he dried out it took less booze to get drunk. Well, this time he drank too much which caused his heart to stop. My father did not live with me he lived in Northern California. My grandma did not call me for almost a month after he died. He had a given her his will. In it, I was given his car. One owner 1957 Chevy. She decided that I did not need the car and sold it for $300.00 to a total stranger. I was completely messed up that my father had passed and that my grandma would not allow me to have anything from him. That picture reminds me of him so I posted it.

I really don't know what I can say Chuck, That had to be devastating, to find out about your dad and then lose the car as well,
For all you've been through thus far, you're holding it all together as you do, is hard to comprehend for me. I really feel for ya Chuck ! .... Remember we on the thread may not be THERE to support you,... but I for one will always be reachable here, or my e-mail ...... Boo
