I've been having an issue with my SD and cannot figure out how to fix it. The mower is a 54" SD with 50 hours on it. A month or so ago I noticed that the lowest I can set the deck to is the 3" setting. Anything lower than that actually sets it higher than the 3" setting. Anyone else ever had this issue?

Still under warranty, do not mess with it, take back to dealer.

Not sure, mine will go all the way down until the deck floats on top of the ground and the rod will ride up and down in the bracket.

Are you sure you are lifting up on the little chrome handle that holds it up for travel? I never use it except for loading on a trailer... so, once.
(I don't see the point of it but what ever.)
I needed I can shot a vid of it... I'm not sure what the handle is called.

Not sure whatever happened with the OP. Sound like he thinks the lower the pin, the lower the deck setting. It is actually opposite. The closer the pin is to the ground the higher the deck is. Frankly, the first time I fiddled with it, I made the same mistake. Since there are no measured height settings, one would intuitively think the lower the pin (towards the ground), the lower the deck would be.
