2013 Dixon speedztr 42

I bought a used 2013 Dixon speedztr 42 inch i bought it from a 70 year old lady, when i went to pick it up i noticed she had a brand new John Deer mower.

Ok now my problem is the mower keeps breaking the deck belt in one hour of use, i opened up the idler and tensioner and now the belt is very loose. Does anyone have this mower can i get a picture of the idler and tension er with the belt on.

Thank you very much i am in the process of increasing the length of the clutch cable spring needs to be shortened but it cant be done because of the soldered ends on the cable. I think i can weld a piece to the clutch cable retainer bracket to extend the length by an inch.
