CUb Model 1045 20 HP can I convert to q Kohler 25 Hp V Twin?

Need Help!

I have a Cub model 1045 46 cut with a Kohler 20HP single cylinder....the engine ruined.
I can get a 25 HP Kohler V twin for free.
Does anyone know if the Kohler 25Hp V Twin will fit on the Cub 1045?

Secondly, will the PTO clutch off the Kohler 20HP will fit onto the 25Hp?

Please advise?

Yes should mount up, you may have to drill & tap new mounting bolt holes, measure crankshaft diameter on both engines for PTO clutch installation.
