About to post the video in a moment...gotta do it from the phone.

1. drained gas and refilled with fresh
2. took the carb apart and thoroughly cleaned
3. changed oil

Sill running like poop...no power unless I tinker with the choke while running.

I hear that this is a common problem with the Kohler engines 380960

I have read that it could be the autochoke or the float isn't allowing the needle to let gas flow properly.

Any ideas or thoughts are greatly appreciated!!!

Hey Dan,

Did you ever get this figured out? I just bought a used Courage XT7 and mines having the exact same issues, starts up for 5 seconds and dies. Read and saw videos about both options you listed. Do you get these issues taken care of?

I'm going to buy a new carburetor and was thinking either auto choke or adding a primer.

Thanks,

Paul
