I have a SPX with 42" deck.
My problem is that the mower leaves a windrow of clippings on the non discharge side.
It seems that there is a small discharge of clippings on the non discharge side.

Clean out the underneath of the deck and inspect your blades for damage.

Dealers have been known to put stuff together wrong, blades on upside down etc etc.

I still stand by what I said first.
It is also not uncommon with high lift blades.

I checked the blades and they are installed with the wings up.
The deck has no buildup of grass clippings.

Try low lift blades or it is the nature of that beast.

More important , how long was your grass and how much were you trying to cut off ?
Cutting too much or driving too fast can overwhelm the volume the deck can efficiently discharge.
