I have a cc98m self propelled mower and i broke the spring that releases the self propel pulley on the mower. I can not find this spring in any parts break down and cub cadet can not help me. Does anyone know where I can find this spring? The arrow is where the spring goes.

If you post the units model numbers, we may be able to help you. A lot of members are smart than those guys at Cub Cadet.

I agree with Carscw. Even if you buy an entire trans it does not come with spring.

im not sure on the model number but it is a cc98m

You will have to go to a hardware store to get something that fits and works.
