Hello everyone. I am new to this site and looking to upgrade to either a Scag residential mower or a Dixie Chopper residential mower. Below are the specs for each one.

Based on the specs above and your experience which one do you think will be the better mower. Also, so you know, I live in SW Florida and mow about 2 acres. Roughly .5 acre is smooth St. Augustine grass and the other 1.5 acres are pasture with Bahia and weeds.

I was not going to comment but you posted twice so here goes. I would buy the Chopper. It is better all around except for the Kawasaki engine.

I really like my Zee 2. It is very well built and the cut is great.

I was not going to comment but you posted twice so here goes. I would buy the Chopper. It is better all around except for the Kawasaki engine.
I cross posted due to the lack of responses. I don't have a whole lot of experience or knowledge with mowers and want to get the best one for my needs and budget. I like the look and feel and the lighter weight of the Scag but the slower blade tip speed concerns me.
