I replaced my starter solenoid (tiger cub) and when hooking the battery terminals back up the solenoid engages. put the old one back on does the same thing. I tried hooking up the battery with solenoid not attached to the starter and all seems well, however as soon as I snug it up to starter solenoid engages? Thanks for any help.
