I just got an s82 that wont turn over. I replaced the switch and solenoid. It will start by jumping to starter and between terminals on solenoid. I have jumped the wire from the seat switch and the switch on the transmission. Also depressed the brake pedals but nothing. Fuse on wire to solenoid is good. Is there any more switches or fuses to check?

Get yourself a wiring diagram and a miltivolt meter and test things out before you just start throwing more parts into it.

If it has a real gear box then the starting circuit will have 4 switches
Ignition
Clutch/brake
Neutral ( on gearbox )
PTO.
These switches are daisy chained to the solenoid co a break in any switch or wires between them will prevent the solenoid firing.
Also try running another earth to the solenoid as the body earthed ones corrode and end up with no ground contact.
