I have a Honda 2216 Lawn Tractor, about 14 years old. Regularly serviced. Started up last night (May 12 2016) but no engagement of the blades. All the belts were on ok. Starter motor then jammed onto the engine with of course a loud squealing noise. Is this the circuit board? Would appreciate some help. Thanks Steve

If you have not serviced the starter fo 14 years then it will be well overdue.
There is a limiter on the top of the Bendix that stops the starter gear overshooting and slamming into the bottom of the flywheel.
This might need some packing or it could just need a clean & lube.

There is no circuit board as such in the mower, just standard mower wiring so the clutch may have just given up the ghost or the fuse might have blown.
I don't see many Honda's down here when the wholesale / retail robbers added their extortinate mark ups they ended up being more expensive than a lot of poplar 4 cylinder cars.

The only I reguarly service has a proper fuse box including a fuse for the electric clutch.
And of course the PTO switch itself has a limited service life as it carries a relatively high current load.
It can also get dusty and one poster here even had ants nest in his .
