Amsoil Bypass Oil Filter

In 2015 I purchased a new 2014 Classic 2750 with the Generac engine. What a machine! I was thinking about installing an Amsoil bypass oil filter system. I'm assuming a semi intelligent and semi experienced mechanic (me) could handle this. I previously had a 2006 Silver Eagle with a 20 HP Kohler on which I installed the heavy duty air filter system which included carburetor change out. Purchased all of the parts from Kohler. Went off without a hitch. So I think I could handle this. I put together a parts list from the Generac re-power manual pages 9 & 10 for a 33hp 2007 machine. I assume nothing much has changed. Has anyone done this? Thanks.
