need to remove the engine from my scag tiger cub and would like to know procedures. Have no compression on one cylinder and piston does not move when crankshaft is turned. Any videos or manuals around to help? Thanks

Easy job but you will need a few pairs of hands orsome lifting gear as you have to lift it quite high to get the engine out of the engine bay.
Pull the pulley stack off the PTO shaft and you are done underneath.
Don't leave the clutch hanging by the control wires.
There should be a pair of lifting hooks on the engine to sling it up with.
The control cables will come off at the carb and most of the wiring will all un plug sround the starter motor.
Pull the fuel line off at the fuel pump and dain the tank.

What is the machine model and S/N range?
Do you have tools to do this job?
What is your mechanical skill level?
What are the model and type numbers of the engine that you are replacing?
What make, model and type number is the new engine? Must have the same length and diameter crankshaft as the original engine.
Do you have the Scag operators/parts manual for your specific machine?
Have you ever replaced the mower deck drive V belt?
Have you ever replaced the pump drive V belt?
Have you ever replaced the clutch?
