I have a Honda mower that is running rough. I thoroughly cleaned the carb and reinstalled it. The user hit something hard enough to bend one of two blades. After you start the mower I let it warm up take it off choke and it still runs rough. I was thinking that it might be the flywheel key being a bit off. Would the timing cause the engine to run rough? Could it be the gaskets on the carb?
Thanks :)

It could be an offset flywheel key. gaskets could be the culprit also. by run rough do you mean engine surges or blows black smoke or just has a lack of power.

Ok, it was not the gaskets, although I did install new ones. On this carburetor there is a plastic washer/gasket with a vent hole. That vent hole was clogged! I cleaned it, installed the card and what do you know? It ran like a champ!
Thanks for the help.
