I'd get rid of all the push mowers that aren't running and fix up the Deere 318.

I only have the Ventrac 60" and a Stihl Kombi with String head and Sickle bar head for grass and weeds.

2 Lawn Boy 2 strokes. One I use the other is for the future. I also have a Simplicty Conquest which is just too cool! Of course I have a Red Max string trimmer which I also like. That thing is strong and fast.

I'm not "laughing" but I am giggling! That's a lot of mowers.

We have a riding and a push. Only one of each. The ones we have had broken down on us have been given to someone who could fix them up.

Wow, you have 13 mowers and 8 of them aren't working?? You might want to think about buying one really solid mower and just sticking with it. To answer your question I am going out to purchase my first riding mower tomorrow. I'm looking at a John Deere dealership.
