My Series 3000 Cub Cadet with the Command 20 V twin died yesterday suddenly while mowing,
after putting on 15 hrs. this season.... overall hrs are 475.
I changed fuel filter in hopes it may be that... but no fuel is coming from pump to carb. , and
have ordered a new fuel pump today.
Now my question is ... do I need to prime pump by maybe filling new filter with fuel , or
will new pump self prime ?
Thanks.
Pete

It should self prime. I have had to pressurize the fuel tank on a few riders to get fuel in the new pump before it would pump fuel on its own.

I just found out by accident that if you push fuel pump by hand, you can easily prime pump.
