5.0 snapper starts with starting fluid but will keep running after fluid used up.ant suggesting on how to fix problem. Gas seems to be getting to carb.

Carb prob for sure. Has it been sitting a while? Take the bowl of the carb off and clean out with a wire from a wire brush and blow with a compressor. Also get some carb cleaner and spray in. Put it all back together and you should be all set

Carburator float valve stuck into seat, only repair is replace it cost less then 10 dollars. called a needle and seat.
