I have a Dixie Chopper XT 2800 with a Kohler command pro 28 efi. It was running fine and all of a sudden started missing and died. I tried starting it back up and the battery was dead. I jump started the mower and it fired right up, unhooked the cables and it started to die again. Put a battery tester on and it said replace battery so I did. Started right up, ran great. Let the mower sit for a week, wouldn't start. Jumped it again fired right up and ran for about an hour before it died. Now I jump it and it won't keep running. Was told to check a couple fuses and they are fine. Thanks in advance

You need to check and see if your engine is charging.
Charge battery back up take a multi meter (you can get at most parts stores and Lowes Home Depot etc.)
Set meter on VDC put red lead on positive and black on negative battery should show around 12.5 Volts.
Start engine and run up to full speed put leads on again, it should show 13.5 to 14.5 Volts if it is charging, if no change you have charging problem.

Is engine still under warranty ?
