Hi I have a kawasaki fh500v and its leeking oil ALOT,. im not real sure where its coming from, but i thing i may need new gasgets. how hard is it too replace the gasgets on this kind of engine thanks.,

There are a few variables when it comes to this type of repair. Which gasket is leaking, the tools you have and your level of ability. For some people replacing gaskets is a simple procedure and for others it's impossible.

hi I thing its the gasget that goes on the cilender crankcase that bolts to the top of the engine. i could probably do the job if someone walked me through it

Clean everything very well and let it dry. Run the engine and look for fresh oil leaking out.
