Looking at both of these machines for cutting 2-4 acres several times per month.
Both have the 2800 transmissions, heavy fab deck, foot adjustable height, and generally similar feature sets. Both are made by reputable manufacturers. Key difference appears to be engine (Ariens has Kohler 7000, Hustler has the Kawasaki FR691V).
