i'm having PTO problems on my 10 year old wright sentar. all is fine until roughly 15 minutes into mowing the blade shuts off . everything else keeps running. i've tried a new switch and new relay . at some point i'm going to run thru the wiring and make sure there are no breaks or something loose. is there anything else i should look for ? is it possible the clutch is heating up and shutting down ?

Clutch could be heating up and shutting down. Voltage to the clutch could be dropping off for some reason and shutting off the clutch.

i found the problem !!! my trusty test light confirmed i had voltage at the plug where the wiring harness connects to the clutch . a closer look at the plug and i found that the clip that holds the 2 connectors together had melted just enough that it wasnt holding the 2 together like it should. i ty-wrapped the connectors together and re-routed the wiring away from the heat source . mowed for almost 3 hours yesterday with no cutting off problems !!
