I had no idea Ford made mowers! That thing is awsome!
The strange thing is that it is written "Not for sale"... Like it was a prototype.

Jacobson, Gilson and Lawn Boy all made tractors and push mowers which were branded by Ford in the 80's. As post, I also believe it is a prototype for commercial use, says SAMPLE and NOT FOR SALE.

I do remember Ford riding mowers. As I recall they were a cheaper mower to buy.

I still have one of these sitting out by my shed. I bought it in the early 90's when I had a lawn service. I should have the books around here somewhere! It was a very good machine, and I'd like to rebuild it in the future. They were made by Gilson.

whoa, I pretty much know everything Ford made through the years, but this one I did not...a walk behind unit. I have an LGT 125 1979 year, an R-11 1984 rider mower,
and a rotary tiller 5 horse, am planning on purchasing a Ford lawn mower this year, any kind, just so long as it is Ford. Might purchase a Ford chain saw....maybe.
thanks for posting this walk behind, made my day.
