Just thought I would post to show the weight mount I had made for my 3000. Basically, the whole thing sits on the hitch. There are little tabs (circled in red in the first picture) that go under the tractor "frame" to keep the whole thing from tipping. The weights are about 45 pounds each so I have about 185 with the bracket. Anyone else have any other ideas? I'm thinking of a different method so I could six or even eight weights but I'm not sure if I "need" that or not?!

Nice job on the weight bar. Is the trailer ball hole the only place it's bolted to the machine? That's a good amount of counterweight especially considering the rear engine location.

Yes, that hole is the only place it is bolted to the tractor. I'd like to make this "toolless" if I could but I think that bolt needs to be tight so the whole thing doesn't bounce around.

I'm working on adding an additional 100 lbs to this with some round weights I bought pretty cheap. I'll try to remember to come back and add pictures when I get that done. :)
