My Carb. has started leaking thru the primer. It is a Briggs, about 2 years old. It is 6.0 horse power. It is also a walk behind self propelled. I'm thinking a new Carb.,but would nice if I could repair the carb. What would be the cheapest way to fix the problem? Thank You

I realize you are being helpful, and I appreciate that. The primer has a hole in it,and if I replace with a new one,it will also have a hole in it. Put there by Briggs,in order to do the priming. The gas is running thru the Carb, and then out the primer. I should have explained better. Thank You

OK now I understand...
They do have both kinds ... with and without the hole... I have never looked to see what the internal difference might be ... but there has to be some type of check... I will have to look . :smile:KennyV
