My Bolens ST125 (model 3012G) battery cable ends fit pole type battery terminals as opposed to the apparently now more common blade type.
If I simply remove the screw from my battery cable, sandwich the blade terminals of a new style battery between the ends of my pole type clamp, and bolt all together... would I have enough surface area touching one another (round cable clamp to blade terminal) to ensure adequate flow of current? Note that the ends of the clamp would only touch half the blade terminals if they are configured as I think they are from pictures I see.
