While mowing today, I got tangled up in a pear tree ( ROPS ) which was in the down position. The hand knob on the ROPS was bent and after googling to find a replacement, to get one shipped to my location, it would cost $30.00. Now come on folks, we are talking about a damn bolt with a plastic head. Gotta be a cheaper source somewhere.

a couple of places you can check -- both commercial/industrial supply houses that stock knobs similar to what you describe. (Can't be more specific since your description is pretty generic.) Both have hugh catalogs online.
