Looking at a fairly new br430. Worth $200? Doesn't blow that hard but I don't do many leaf cleanups.

The air velocity should be 183 mph and the volume 500 cfm on the Br 430. It should give you all you need. The price on the 430 is like $409.99, if it's working and running well it would be worth $200.

Thanks Ric. I'll prob go pick it up. Backpack blowers seem to hold their value more than any other lawn equipment. I've seen really beatup and 10 year old blowers going for 200. Or thats the asking price... not sure if the sellers get what they ask but the few I've talked to aren't inclined to negotiate. This one looks good at least and its a recent model.

Now there is a Redmax EBZ6500 for 250 at another pawn shop. Looks really well taken care of and starts and runs great. The Stihl was 230 but the store said they'd let it go for 200 + tax. The shop with the Redmax refuses to bargain at all. $250+$21 tax=$271. So $271 vs $217. The Redmax puts out some cfm
So far I haven't run across anything that the Hitachi handheld can't handle.
