La 130 dies on blade engagement , not in reverse

Hi all and thanks in advance. New guy here. I was riding my mower today when I bumped the deck against a concrete footing. I heard a sound that was not normal and the blades stopped spinning. I reengaged and they spun but the motor killed immediately. When I pressed the rio button it would run and the blades would spin. So of course I finished the area I was working on in reverse. I don't want to mow an acre in reverse though so input is needed and appreciated. Thanks! One other thing is with that with the pto button engaged if I stand up off the seat the blades will start to spin before the motor immediately kills
