Mower deck ID ?

I bought 2 John Deere mower decks,3 days ago. One is a 47" for the 317,but this 38" deck,I don't know what model tractor it fits.

Below that it says: 38" mower........2/300

Anyone know which tractor it fits ?

I don't think you will be able to find out which tractor your deck fits with out going to JD. The number you posted is the deck serial number.
M00= accessory or attachment
38= deck size
D= ???
F= ???
235055= serial number, I think the 23 translates to 2003, but I could easily be wrong.
