Getting ready for spring, what should I do preliminarily to get ready for spring to my grass, trees, etc. What can I do to help with preventing the bugs and such, if anything?

Still a bit early, but if you are going to use chemicals, ELIMINATOR Ant, Flea & Tick Killer II Granules works very well...
Is there any particular insect pest you are aiming at?? :smile:KennyV

I think I have aphids. The last few years my poor snowball tree got all but eaten. That and I have an issue with tent caterpillars about every other year. Those things gross me out!

There's a product by the name of Preen I just love to use in and around my yard. tI's a weed preventer. It prevents weed seeds from germinating. It comes in a granular form. I sprinkle it in my flower and shrub beds and on my gravel pathways. It doesn't eliminate all the weeds, but it helps lots.
