5HP Briggs&Stratton dosent run.

The engine starts runs for abot 3-4 seconds and then dosent run again for a while.
any ideas on what's wrong with it i have stripped the carb and cleaned it.
????

It would be either fuel or ignition related...
Fuel problem is the most common, so start there.
With the engine running, you can remove the air cleaner and spray WD40 into the intake...
You will hear if you are spraying too much or not enough to keep it running...
If it continues to run longer than it did with gasoline... you have found the problem is fuel related.

If it dies about the same... then look for spark delivery problems... :smile:KennyV

put a new spark plug on it and it turned out it was the wrong plug.
