I have an older John Deere 14ST mower which I have had for a long time. The blade needs to be replaced as my wife ran over a dog chain that was buried in the grass and the mower is sputtering and hard to start. I think the carburetor needs to either be replaced or rebuilt. Also the throttle does not adjust properly with the control wire. Do you think it would be worth getting the mower fixed or replace it?

My yard is very sloped from top to bottom and I have been having a problem getting the mower up the hill as it seems to just spin the back wheels.

Thanks,

Glenn

Glenn,

I answered this on the other thread in introductions.
