Toro 6.5HP GTS 5 Leaking Oil

The leak seems to be coming from around the exhaust (though it looked to just be dripping from the exhuast cage). I bought the unit used and have only used it twice with it leaking both times. I've already cleaned the mower after the first use and this is the best guess to where it is leaking from. Ive checked the oil level, which was high the first use, then perfect for the second use. It also has been throwing out white smoke so Im guessing oil is getting into the cylinders maybe? Im not sure and want to try to repair this myself since I tend to think of myself as a do-it-yourself'er. Any help would be great!

to me it sounds like its pushing out the oil because it was over full if it keeps up its time for a repair
